New Delhi, September 9 – The nine TYC activists who protested outside Taj Mansingh Hotel yesterday have been moved to Tihar Jail. They were rallying against Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi’s arrivial in India.
The detained members were taken to RML Hospital for a routine medial check up at 10:30 pm yesterday and booked under section 107/151 Cr.pc. Around 2:00 pm today all members were produced before the Special Executive Magistrate Court at Parliament Street and thereafter sent to Tihar Jail.
The protest campaign was coordinated and led by TYC executive members Tsultrim Dorjee and Kunchok Yangphel. Delhi Samyeling Regional TYC President Kunchok was also among those arrested.
