SEATTLE – The Dalai Lama is scheduled to visit Seattle, April 11 to 14.
The five-day gathering is billed as the Seeds of Compassion Gathering. The focus of the gathering is to develop a strong community focus celebrating and exploring relationships, programs and tools that nurture and empower children, families and communities to be compassionate members of society.
Each of the five days can provide parents, educators, business and community leaders with an opportunity to better understand the benefits of compassion and concrete steps on how to bring compassion into their lives.
Tenzin Gyatso is the 14th Dalai Lama and is both the head of state and spiritual leader of Tibet.
