Tibet Support Group Belgium “Les Amis du Tibet” organised a film festival about Tibet and the Himalaya on March 30-31 and April 1 in Brussels.
More than 500 people came to see movies and attend talks about ecology in Tibet given by Mrs Françoise Bonzon (from Eco Tibet in France) and about Tibetan medicine given by Amchi Lobsang Tsultrim. Among the movies shown during those 3 days were : Dreaming Lhassa, Bokar Rimpoche, Tibet’s stolen child, Prisoniière à Lhassa, A man called Nomad, …
Mr Jigme Douche, a french “Tibetan Calligrapher” showed his art during all the event and many people enjoyed watching him writing Tibetan words pr sentences.
Many people also visited the information stands of ICT and of Les Amis du Tibet.
During all the event people were able to taste tibetan food like momos or shapaleh, cooked by the Tibetan community in Belgium.
