Symposium on TIbet concluded successfuly

Everybody in the freedom hall was in still position for the whole length of time for 5hrs. 700 Tibetan patriots were into listening and questioning about the prospectus of Tibet. Another 200 patriots were not let in by the building management due to overcrowding. Talk started exactly at 2:00pm and concluded graciously at 7:30pm.

Regional Tibetan Youth Congress of NY& NJ is very proud to have organized this event and so far this has been the biggest symposium ever held here in the city of NY. It was so inspiring, so motivating that crowd wanted to have second session on the same day. Tenzin Kalden la, the president of RTYC of NY& NJ welcomed the panels who had come over from India and the crowds who were rushed in from various neighboring states. He spoke about the importance of such event and further urged all the Tibetans to utilize our democracy into fullest with responsibilities.

International renowned poet, Tibetan freedom fighter and activist Mr. Tenzin Tsundue spoke out first and he stressed mainly about the importance of contribution of an individual at all capacity to further strengthen the unity in never wavering vision of Rangzen. He entertained many questions and crowd seemed to be very enthusiastic about his answers. Next up was the president of Tibetan Youth Congress Mr. Kalsang Phuntsok la and he spoke about the responsibilities of our Tibetan people role in strengthening and making efficient government in exile. Also reaffirming the utmost importance of TYC in our Tibetan struggle for many years to come.

Finally Kasur Gyalo Dhondup la took the stage with bow to HH portrait and people cheering up for him. He spoke mainly about the facts of his deeds for the Tibetan cause during the past 60 years of his life and especially about the meetings with Chinese officials. In sum he urged people to work for Tibetan cause at all levels regardless of your beliefs in Rangzen or middle way path with the knowledge of today. History was written in so many ways. People were very much appreciative and Symposium was concluded by the president with words of urging people to organize as such in Tibetan community everywhere in the world.
