He said that Tibet has always been a buffer state between India and China and this was the reason that India and China did not fought a war before 1962 because they never share a border before 1959. After the occupation of Tibet, China attacked India in October 1962 and Himalayan region came under constant threat ever since.

All the Indian speakers highlighted need for Indians to support the Tibetan cause especially on the Kailash & Mansarover which is considered one of the very important religious sites of Hindus.

Shri Indresh Kumar Ji while speaking on the occasion said there aren’t much progress in understanding what ideology the Chinese government follows. Every country who believed in Chinese policy has to face disloyalty from them. Therefore through this campaign launch he approached every Indian for a need to pressurize Indian government to initiate a talk between China and the Dalai Lama. Tibetans should be involved in any border discussion that takes place between India and China. He also said that the religious and social persecution taking place in Tibet need to be stopped.
Shri. Khiren Rijiju started his speech saying that India has never shared its border with China until 1959 when it forcefully occupied Tibet. Moreover, he said that India is responsible for Tibets tragedy by accepting Tibet as a part of China and India is still paying for those mistakes. He said Arunuchal has a social, cultural and religious tie with Tibet and has never been part of China. He strongly opposed the statement given by Chinese Ambassador in India Mr. Sun Yuxi claiming Arunachal as their territory and urge Indian govt to resolve Tibetan issues and border talks with China immediately. He says though he support total independent of Tibet however Indian govt should support middle way approach initiated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in resolving Tibetan issue.
The Chairperson of the meeting Ven Lochen Tulku said that more of such seminars should be organized in order to gain massive support. He thus said that the Indians should intensify its support to the Tibets cause.
