Bhopal (India) November 20 – Dr. Mahesh yadav, a peace activist and the blood Campaigner, founder convener of Mahatma Gandhi Tibet freedom Movement, concerned to Mahatma Gandhi Global Amity Council while being under house arrest continued under going 47 hours fasting at his house after being shifted to his house on 20.11.2006 in the night at 10 pm from the govindpura police station Bhopal where he was kept under arrest since 5.30 pm on 18.11.2006, to stop him to reach New Delhi along with Ajay Jain a peace activist and the Working president of the council, as a result of an order of detaining by the Indian govt. under pressure of China. Dr. yadav along with Ajay Jain were to undergo a 47 hours of fasting in the protest of Chinese president’s India visit, however Dr. yadav gave effect to this fixed program at police station and continued it at his house.
Dr. yadav and Ajay Jain in presence of other Peace activist burnt down the posters of Hu-jintao, China’s Flag and dr. Manmohan Singh the Prime minister of India and Dr. yadav demanded the resignation of Dr. Manmohan Singh from prime minister’s post as he is unable to sustain the dignity of 100 crores of Indians and moreover the Security of India.
Further, Ajay Jain the working president submitted what Dr. yadav said while burning the posters that “It is a matter of great sorrow and worry that under the pressure of China the world’s largest democracy India had-have given a death knell to the democracy in India and the coward Indian government under pressure from China for the 5 days had enforced dictatorship in the country, but it doesn’t affects me and my concern for dedication to the security of India and supporting of H.H. Dalai Lama’s Gandhian way of non-violent and truth struggle for the Tibet’s cause as if Tibet is not again established as a buffer zone between India and China then in the coming time our country and the world as a whole will have to face the most disastrous and worst situation as then nobody will be able to stop China from using the nuclear and chemical weapons installed at Tibet which had in order converted it into a large military base”.
Ajay Jain, a peace activist and the Working president of the council said that Dr. yadav along with him were to reach New Delhi on 19.11.2006 by the train Bhopal Express, to undergo protest by way of observing 47 hours of protest at Jantar Mantar New Delhi, against the visit of Chinese president to India including his proposed addressing of the Indian parliament and moreover to raise demand including “making Tibet a place for Heaven of Peace on Earth” and “giving back of the land forcibly garbed by the Chinese army during the 1962 war”, but unfortunately we were arrested by the police in Bhopal whereas, Dr. yadav will remain arrested till Hu-Jinto leaves India.
Ajay Jain further informed that “dr. yadav breaked down his 47 hours of fast with his (Ajay jain) making him drink a glass of milk infront of media, police and a no. of other persons after 47 hours of fasting at 5.00pm on 20.11.2006, but the non-violent protest of Dr. yadav will go on till Hu-jintao leaves India”.
