A Tibetan student outshines in state-level painting competition

Dharamshala: A Tibetan student Tenzin Dawa shines out in the state-level painting competition held in Shimla, capital of the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

In all 74 schools participated in the competition.

Dawa from the Shimla Central School for Tibetans won the first prize of Rupees 10,000.

While the second and third prize of Rupees 8,000 and 5,000 went to Indian students from the local schools.

The painting competition was organised under the national awareness campaign on energy conservation.
