Dharamshala, October 7 – The official ceremony to felicitate the three new Kalons, out of the total four new Kalons, was held this morning at the Kashag Hall.
Present at the occasion were the chief election commissioner, the auditor general, the dignitaries of the Central Tibetan Administration, and heads of the other Tibetan institutions here.
On 5 October the three Kalons took oath of office from His Holiness the Dalai Lama and their portfolios were identified by the Kashag.
Following the official ceremony to the three new Kalons, the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR), the Department of Education and the Department of Religion and Culture held a small function in honour of their respective Kalons.
