Dharamshala – “The policies undertaken by the 12th Kashag, with approval of the the Assembly of Tibetan Peoples Deputies (ATPD), will be continued and there will be no change in it. But in order to comply with the situation if arises, then with the advice of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and guidance of the ATPD, we have no hesitation to change the policies”, said Kalon Tripa, Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche, as he read out Kashag’s explanatory note this morning at the assembly session.
He said his re-election for the second term shows people’s support for the policies and programmes implemented by the Kashag in the past five years. Thus he said he does not feel there is need to change the policies and programmes carried out so far.
Thanking the assembly for its co-operation and support in achieving the administration’s goal, Kalon Tripa requested the assembly to continue to support the new Kashag as before.
