New Delhi, September – 5 -His Holiness the Dalai Lama will be visiting Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. from September 12 to 14. Venerable Geshe Tsuntrim Gyeltsen and the students of Thubten Dhargye Ling Buddhist Center in Long Beach, California are hosting this teaching of His Holiness at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
His Holiness will give teachings on Nagarjuna’s Commentary on Boddhicitta (jangchup semdrel) meaning Mind of Enlightenment on the first two days. The teaching is open to everyone interested and will be specially focused toward practicing students of Buddhism. The practice of Buddhism is being practiced globaly and many people abroad have begin to follow the authentic well-being and happiness through compassion which forms the crux of Buddhism.
A public talk will be given by His Holiness on Wednesday, September 13th at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal City on Compassion:the Source of Happiness.
On September 14 morning His Holiness will confer the Chittamani Tara Permission Initiation (dolma chittamani jenang). The teachings and initiation will be translated in English, Chinese and Vietnamese.
Followed by a Public talk on The Science of A Compassionate Life in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A. on September 17th sponsered by Mind and Life Institute. Another Public talk at University of Buffalo, New York, on September 19 about Promoting Peace Across Borders Through Education.
With these continual public talks, His Holiness will give teachings on The Blade Wheel of Mind Transformation (lojong tsonchai khorlo) by Dharmarakshita on September 23, 24 and 25 in New York, U.S.A.
The last day of the month, September 30th will be concluded by another public talk in Helsinki, Finland where His Holiness will speak about A Human Approach to World Peace.
