Zurich, March 6 – A Group of Tibetans and Tibet-Supporters set off on a peace march from Zurich yesterday. The protestors braved the heavy snowfall and road blockades.
The march which the marchers say is a human rights march will conclude in Berne, the Swiss capital city. The protestors will submit a memorandum to the Chinese Embassy in Berne. They demand an immediate improvement in the human rights condition in China and Tibet.
The marchers will be joined in Geneva by Tibetans and supporters living in the city. The marchers will then hold a protest demonstration at the annual meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Commission
The march will take five days.
