Indian officers’ team to visit Lhasa

With the threat of flash floods caused by formation of a lake in Tibet ending, a team of Indian officials will visit the region from tomorrow to hold talks with Chinese experts on how to meet such challenges in future.

The EU Presidency will visit Tibet

The EU Presidency will visit Tibet prior to the EU-China Bilateral Human Rights Dialogue in Beijing on 24 September 2004. The visit, from 20-23 September, is being undertaken to directly gather information on the human rights situation in Tibet.
