Tibetan community presents ‘Dances From the Roof of the World’
“Dances From the Roof of the World” will be at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center on Wednesday as the Utah Tibetan Association plays host to performers from the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA), Dharamsala, India.
Buddhist festival “Saga Dawa” celebrated in Sikkim
Thousands of devotees thronged the street in Gangtok for a sacred procession to celebrate the “Saga Dawa” festival. Amidst the chanting religious prayers by Buddhist monks and beating of drums people observed the traditional festival of Saga Dawa.
Kathmandu wins GCM Gold Cup 2004
Dharamsala, June 12 – GCM Gold Cup 2004 was lifted by Kathmandu in a nail biting match against Est. 22. During the regurlar time both the teams scored two goals each. The golden goal time went off without any goals which ended up in penalty kicks between the two.
