European Parliamentary Assistants assure support for Tibet
A cross-party delegation of assistants of European Parliamentary expressed their continued support for Tibet’s struggle for freedom and pledged to put human rights and environmental issues before the parliament on their maiden visit to Dharamshala.
The Dalai Lama expresses optimism on Tibet
The Tibetan spiritual leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, said that he is optimistic of resolve in the Tibetan issue, in light of the constant change that is taking place in China and within the ruling Chinese Communist Party. He was speaking as the Chief guest in the Indian capital yesterday at ‘Express Adda’, a series of informal interactions organized by The Indian Express Group.
