China must address legitimate Tibetan grievances: Sangay
In light of the self-immolations, the President of the exile Tibetan government, Dr. Lobsang Sangay, said that China holds the key tostopping the pressing issue of Tibetan self-immolations as well as resolving the larger issue of Tibet. Two self-immolations took place in May, including a young Tibetan monk, Jamyang Losel, who fatally set himself ablaze at around on 19 May near the People’s Hospital in Kangtsa County, Amdo Province.
