Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay continues Europe visit to Belgium and France
Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay will leave on 16 April morning for Belgium and France after completing the first leg of his Swiss visit. Yesterday evening His Holiness the Dalai Lama addressed over 5,000 members of the Tibetan Community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
China Sentences Tibetans up to six years in jail
The Intermediate People’s court in Rebkong and Tsekhog in Eastern Tibet sentenced four Tibetans up to six years in prison and deprived their political rights for sharing information of Tibetan self-immolators with outsiders.
Tibetan PM writes to Secretary Kerry
The Prime Minister of the exile Tibetan administration, Dr Lobsang Sangay, wrote to the US Secretary of State John Kerry urging him to raise Tibet issue and the current crisis in Tibet during his first visit to China.
