China plan information blackout in eastern Tibet, Burn satellite dishes

Chinese authorities in the eastern Tibetan region of Malho are leading a massive drive to confiscate satellite dishes used by Tibetans after banning orders on “illegal satellite equipment” were issued last month.

In a major announcement today, the Indian Union Cabinet approved the transfer of schools run by the Central Tibetan Schools Administration to the Department of Education of the Dharamshala based Central Tibetan Administration.
