Third Self Immolation in Tibet in four days
News have just come in of another self immolation protest in Tibet. 3 Tibetans from Sangchu County have resorted to self immolation since Saturday to express their protest against China’s policies and demand the return of the exile Tibetan leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Gyalwang Karmapa graces TCV’s 52nd Founding Anniversary
The Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV) School today marked its 52nd anniversary that was presided over as the Chief Guest by His Eminence Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorjee. Gyalwang Karmapa said that it was important to impart traditional Tibetan education as well as modern education to the children.
