Enough is enough: A call for global campaign for Tibet
Following the tragic incidents of self immolations in Tibet and a benumbed unresponsiveness from the exile Tibetan administration, a global coalition of Tibetans and supporters are planning a mass mobilisation at Chinese embassies across the world on Wednesday November 2.
Dalai Lama addresses Tutu as ‘man of God’, wishes him ‘Happy birthday’
The Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama wished his fellow Nobel Peace Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu a “very happy birthday” in a 6 minute video message. “Very, very dear elder spiritual brother and Nobel Laureate Archbishop Tutu,” began the Dalai Lama with folded hands.
UK MPs: ‘We share the pain of self immolating Tibetans’
Reacting to reports of two more self immolations by teenaged Tibetans in eastern Tibet earlier today, a group of visiting UK Member of Parliaments said that they felt and shared the “terrible pain” of the Tibetans in taking the decision to self immolate.
