China Marks Tibet Anniversary, Critics Decry ‘Propaganda’

China Thursday marked the 40th anniversary of the establishment of an “autonomous region” in Tibet with upbeat newspaper headlines highlighting economic progress, but rights campaigners dismissed the event as a “propaganda extravaganza.”

Ballot paper signed by a voter, Inadequate identification of candidates, Strikeovers or erasures, Improper markings like a cross instead of a tick etc.. For reasons such as these, in every election, a good chunk of votes is rendered invalid.
