Delhi loses its way on China trade route
The reopening of a Sino-Indian trade route through Nathu-La Pass in Sikkim has been deferred by the new Indian government, apparently over security concerns. The excitement that was building up among traders in Sikkim after India and China agreed to reopen the trade route last year has subsided.

Non-Official group cancels planned visit to Tibet
A five-member Tibetan exile delegation has cancelled a planned visit to the Tibetan Autonomous Region (TAR) after Chinese authorities denied a request for them to visit their hometowns, Radio Free Asia (RFA) reports.
