His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Visit Florida, Puerto Rico
His Holiness the Dalai Lama is scheduled to visit South Florida and Puerto Rico from 19 to 25 September. This will be his second visit to Miami since 1999.
Longest tunnel project at Qinghai-Tibet railway completed
Construction of the longest tunnel on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway Line has been completed. The 3,345-meter-long tunnel, located about 80 kilometers from Lhasa, capital of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, was built at a place at an altitude of 4,264 meters above the sea level.
