Dalai Lama returns to Scotland

The Dalai Lama is due to arrive in Glasgow on his third visit to Scotland. The exiled political leader and spiritual head of Tibet’s Buddhists will spend four days in the city before going on to Edinburgh and Dunfermline.

US Senate Resolution Calls for Release of Tenzin Delek Rinpoche

A resolution calling for the immediate release of all Tibetan political prisoners, including Tenzin Delek Rinpoche, has been introduced in the US Senate on May 19, 2004 by Senator Sam Brownback (KS). It has now been referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
