Mr. Craig G. Mokhiber, Deputy Director of UN High Commissioner for Human Rights officially visited the Hunger Strikers and expressed his concerns and commitment for the hunger strike movement.
Ride for Tibet’s Independence: Update
The Peace Ride for Tibet’s Independence has been progressing quite well since its inception last Saturday. At this point, the riders have completed about 200 miles, with 400 miles left to go. They will finish the bike ride next Saturday.

The exiled spiritual leader of Tibet has arrived on Canadian soil for the first time in 11 years and is looking forward to meeting Prime Minister Paul Martin. “”If (Martin) asks me about the situation of Tibet, then certainly I will tell him,” the Dalai Lama told reporters Saturday in Vancouver.
