Tibetan Youth Congress of NY/NJ commemorated the Human Rights Day at UN’s Dag Hamersjold Park with Fasting and demonstration. There were 21 people who sat on the fast which includes Geshe Palden Gyatso and the TYC executive members.
Wen Jiabao mobbed by surprise at Rockerfeller Center in NY
A group of Tibetans and SFT followed Wen Jiabao motorcade wherever he went for the second day of his trip. He was mobbed in surprise by the group when he was getting out of his hotel and then followed him at the New York Stock exchange. The mob then rallied back at the hotel Waldorf Astoria till 2 p.m. He was followed at Rockerfeller plaza at General Electric corporate office. The crowd got them so close to his motorcade that the tourist were shocked in silence.
