13<sup>th</sup> ATPD delegates to meet Indian Parliamentarians

A Five member delegation from the Assembly of Tibetan People’s Deputies will meet the ‘All party Indian parliamentary group for Tibet’ (APIPGT) on the 24th of April in Delhi. The Tibetan Assembly delegation is headed by the Vice-Chairperson Ms. Gyari Dolma.

China and India’s mutual distrust

Indian Defence Minister George Fernandes is in Beijing on a week-long official tour of China.
The two Asian rivals will be reviewing relations that have been marred by a long-running border dispute and mutual distrust.

VHP targets Nehru’s Tibet policy

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) today trained its guns on the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, accusing him of “offering” Tibet to China “on a platter” and charging that the action had made the Communist nation a “direct threat” to India.

Reassessing the Chinese threat

The new Chinese leadership has just taken over the reins of the most populous nation in the world. Already many dark clouds are appearing in the sky of the Middle Empire. With the Iraq war nearing its end, what is going to happen during the next few months is anybody’s guess.

10th Tibetan Freedom Concert
